Dear Customers,

Changes at Bel gREEN............

First we would like to say thank you for all the support and enthusiasm we have received since opening nearly 18 months ago. We really have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback and loyal custom.

With a New year ahead of us Bel and Green have been making plans and have decided to create more balance between the shop side of our business and the cafe, (and in turn between Bel and Green themselves), the shop having taken a back seat and the cafe having rather run away with itself....... the cook is tired!

We will have fewer tables and serve mainly coffee, tea, pastries and homemade cakes. 
We are going to channel our creativity towards making more things with fabric.... cushions and clothes and sourcing more beautiful shop goods.... old and new including larger items of furniture, which will fill the majority of our shop space.

We realise this may come as a surprise, but the result will be a lot more like what we first set out to create, the beginnings of which started in the corner of a print studio at art college...... quite some years ago!

So the last day of Bel gREEN as we know it will be February the 14th (we will be hosting a special celebratory Valentines feast in the evening) and the preliminary date for the new Bel gREEN will be February the 21st.

HOWEVER... we will be holding a monthly food event on the first Thursday of every month, whether this is a wine tasting, a summer produce celebration or an Italian regional feast, we guarantee a fun, food filled evening!

The first event will take place on March 7th, a 6 course early spring feast, £42 per person, 7 o'clock start. Booking essential, call or e-mail. full payment taken at time of booking.

We are also involved in a new project 'The Hall' on Stepcote Hill, where we will be holding bigger food events and dinner dances.........
